26th January 2025 – (New York) Cryptocurrencies continue to outpace traditional assets like gold and stocks, with Bitcoin recently achieving an all-time high of $109,114.88, surpassing its previous record of $108,000 set on 20th January 2025. This surge is attributed to increasing governmental interest in Bitcoin, as evidenced by President Trump’s promise to establish a Bitcoin Strategic Reserve in the United States. Mark Yusko, CEO of Morgan Creek Capital, has proposed that the reserve should also include cryptocurrencies such as XRP, Cardano (ADA), and Hedera (HBAR) to enhance diversification.
Yusko suggests that XRP could serve as a foundational layer for national banking systems. Currently trading at $3.14, XRP has demonstrated a bullish trend since November, exhibiting a triangle pattern that indicates a potential breakout upwards, following a historical precedent of price surges post-breakout.
Meanwhile, Cardano positions itself as a leader in sustainability and rigorous research, with Trump signalling an interest in including US-founded coins in the strategic reserve. Trading at $0.99, ADA is currently at the lower end of its trendline, presenting a promising opportunity for investors should it receive strategic reserve recognition.
HBAR, another contender suggested by Yusko, has shown resilience since its rally began in December 2024. Having attempted to breach the $0.4 resistance level multiple times, a successful breakout could see HBAR targeting $0.5 in the near future.

By creating a Layer 2 solution, PlutoChain aims to address issues such as slow transaction speeds and high fees associated with Bitcoin. Offering a block time of just two seconds, it promises to optimise transactions while maintaining Bitcoin’s security. Furthermore, PlutoChain’s compatibility with the Ethereum Virtual Machine could facilitate the integration of DeFi, NFTs, and AI projects into Bitcoin’s ecosystem, unlocking new opportunities for growth and innovation.
