Delta is one of the largest airlines in the world, serving hundreds of millions of customers each year in over 290 destinations worldwide. This gives you plenty of options to plan your next trip, whether you’re staying close to home or traveling abroad.
Note that most of the following examples include the TakeOff 15 benefit, which is a 15% discount on eligible award flights for Delta SkyMiles Amex cardholders. All three of the cards with limited-time offers provide this benefit.
Short-haul domestic flights can start well under 10,000 miles each way, making them affordable options for getting around the country. Take this flight, for example, which offers transport from Los Angeles to Las Vegas for under 6,000 miles in an economy seat:
You don’t have to limit yourself to the U.S., either, as Delta also offers cheap flights to Canada — including this flight from Seattle (SEA) to Vancouver (YVR).
For the low sum of 17,800 SkyMiles, you could jet across the pond to London (LHR) from New York (JFK). Afternoon tea, anyone?
Alternatively, you can snag a premium seat to London for 74,000 miles out of Los Angeles (LAX). This option doesn’t offer a 15% cardmember discount because it’s a Virgin Atlantic flight.
The new Salt Lake City (SLC) to Seoul (ICN) Delta route opens in June 2025, giving you the option for a roundtrip flight to the land of K-pop and kimchi for under 100,000 miles.
