This new team focuses on M&A, private equity, capital markets, leveraged finance, and private credit, offering significant additional strength to the firm’s transactional capabilities in Italy and EMEA. Ferigo Foscari is a leading lawyer in securities and M&A transactions and has strong public M&A experience. Alessandro Seganfreddo is recognized in private equity, M&A, and capital markets. His practice also focuses on IPOs,rights issues, ABBs, RABBs, SBB, convertible and EL bonds, tender offers, private and public M&A transactions. In addition, he provides guidance to issuers and financial institutions on corporate governance and regulatory matters, including MAR and transparency.

Bianca Caruso has 15+ years of experience in debt finance and general corporate and commercial law. She assists credit providers, borrowers/issuers, and private equity sponsors on financing transactions, with a particular focus on corporate finance, leveraged finance, acquisition finance, and real estate finance transactions. Bianca has significant expertise in private credit, direct lending, and high-yield transactions.

After the new team is integrated, Hogan Lovells Italy will have about 140 lawyers, including 31 partners.
