The Canadian dollar weakened against the greenback on Wednesday, and the yield on benchmark government debt slipped.
The loonie was trading 0% lower at C$1.3948 to the greenback, or 71.69 U.S. cents, after trading in a range of 1.3933 to 1.3962.
Canadian government 10-year bond yields fell 3.8 basis points to 3.232%. The yield on similar U.S. government benchmark debt fell to 4.3804%.
U.S. December crude futures fell 16 cents to $67.96 a barrel on Wednesday.
