Financial Insights That Matter

Dogecoin surged to its highest value in over three years, while Bitcoin remains steady around $100,000 and XRP shows good gains.

Late Thursday, Dogecoin climbed to $0.4795, according to BNC data, briefly surpassing its November high of $0.475. Coinbase data shows DOGE even hit $0.48, marking the token’s strongest performance since May 2021, when it peaked at $0.73. Currently, DOGE has dipped slightly to $0.465, reflecting a 4% gain over the past 24 hours but still about 37% below its all-time high. Trader Rekt Capital says a breakout is close.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin continues to hover around six figures after breaking the $100,000 milestone last week. At the time of writing, Bitcoin is priced at $100,500, up more than 1% on the day.

XRP is also showing positive momentum, currently trading at $2.56 after a nearly 5% increase in the last 24 hours. The Ripple-associated token has been riding a wave of regulatory optimism following Donald Trump’s election win and SEC Chair Gary Gensler’s announcement of his resignation. XRP hit $2.82 last week, its highest price in nearly seven years.

The broader crypto market has experienced significant volatility, with CoinGlass reporting $218 million in liquidated positions in the last 24 hours. Long traders bore the brunt, losing $137 million as assets fluctuated across the board.

As Bitcoin stabilizes above $100K, meme coins like Dogecoin and regulatory-driven assets like XRP are injecting fresh energy into the market, signaling that crypto’s wild ride is far from over.

Dogecoin to a $1

Meme coins aren’t going anywhere, and Dogecoin is their undisputed king. Often referred to as the “Bitcoin of meme coins,” Dogecoin holds the crown as the biggest and most recognizable player in the space. Its global brand power is unmatched, bolstered by none other than Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, who can’t seem to stop tweeting about it.

The question isn’t if Dogecoin will hit $1—it’s when. Whether it happens this year or early 2025, the trajectory is clear: Doge is heading to a dollar. Buckle up, Dogecoin believers—this rocket still has fuel. Woof! 🚀
