Eddie Johnson, Author and CEO of Grow My Bag TV recently joined Stocks In Translation and spoke about his 5% rule when it comes to investing in crypto.
“When I look at a stock, I’m looking at, well, that stock’s gonna move 5%, 2%, 3%, and I’ll be happy,” he explains. “But when I look at crypto, I have a 5% rule: If it goes up or down within a 5% range, I don’t care. I don’t even pay attention to it… within a 24 hour period. Beyond that, if it’s down again or up again, now I’m paying attention.”
“But that 5% rule helps ease that volatility that I’m looking at and enables me to actually review different coins and different projects based on what they do,” Johnson continues, as he compares the dynamics between altcoins dogecoin (DOGE-USD) and Shiba Inu (SHIB-USD).
