Amouranth survives terrifying home invasion after gunman demands cryptocurrency; husband shoots intruder and foils attack.

HOUSTON — In a terrifying home invasion, online streaming personality Kaitlyn Siragusa, known to millions of followers as Amouranth, was held at gunpoint by armed robbers demanding cryptocurrency. The March 2 attack at her residence ended when her husband shot one of the intruders, forcing the group to flee.

Siragusa, who has built a multi-million dollar empire through her online presence, was lying in bed around 10:30 p.m. when she heard loud crashes from downstairs. While she was on the phone with her husband, Nick, who was in another building on their property, three armed men broke into her bedroom.

“Three men in my room and they’re pointing the gun at me and they tell me to stand up,” Siragusa recounted. The intruders repeatedly demanded cryptocurrency, beating her and pistol-whipping her three times during the ordeal.

“I thought I was going to die because they kept beating me,” Siragusa said. “They kept saying where’s the crypto, where’s the crypto.”

Deciding to play along to survive, Siragusa told the attackers, “Oh, wait, I think I know where it is,” and led them downstairs and through the kitchen toward another building on the property.

Throughout the incident, Nick remained on the phone, monitoring the situation through security cameras. He put on a Kevlar vest, loaded his gun, and called 911 while anticipating Siragusa would lead the intruders to his location.

“I was just like, ‘she is definitely going to take them here,'” Nick said.

Security footage shows Siragusa leading the armed robbers to the other building where Nick waited in darkness at the top of the stairs. As they approached, Nick warned his wife, “Duck, get down,” before firing two or three shots, hitting one of the men. The intruders immediately fled the scene.

Police arrived shortly after to secure the property.

This week, authorities made an arrest in connection with the case. Bryan Salazar Guerrero has been charged with aggravated robbery and aggravated kidnapping, with bond set at $50,000 for each charge. According to prosecutors, Guerrero confessed to being the getaway driver for the attackers, though the other three suspects remain at large.

The couple has since increased security measures, including hiring armed guards to protect their home. Despite these precautions, they report being unable to sleep peacefully following the traumatic experience.

“My whole life I’ve had nightmares like this,” Siragusa shared.

The couple credits their ability to remain calm and think quickly during the harrowing ordeal, describing their survival as nothing short of a miracle.

The couple believes the robbers may have been drawn by a screenshot posted on Amouranth’s social media, showing $20 million in cryptocurrency she held at the time.
