Can 1 person really do all that? Often the expert is the person doing the work or analysis. The business partner can try to influence all they like but the analysis and sourcing of info doesn't do itself. And then you'll get into the situation where the business partner is just hired to regurgitate insights and story telling done by the team who really knows the stuff.
