A tragic incident in Jhansi has raised alarms about the growing pressure in the workplace. Tarun Saxena, a 43-year-old Area Manager at Bajaj Finance Company, was found dead at his home after allegedly taking his own life due to intense work pressure. A detailed five-page suicide note was recovered, revealing that Saxena had been facing relentless demands to meet unattainable recovery targets set by his seniors. The note also mentioned verbal abuse and constant threats of salary cuts, which had driven him to contemplate suicide multiple times over the past two months. Hours before his death, Saxena had attended an online meeting with his superiors. His grieving family claims that pressure from his seniors led to this extreme step. Police is investigating the matter. In response to the situation, Bajaj Finance Ltd. issued a statement clarifying their position, “We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Tarun Saxena and express our heartfelt condolences and full support to his family in this difficult time.
