Prayagraj: Union minister of finance and corporate affairs Nirmala Sitharaman, along with state industrial development minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’, on Thursday visited and worshipped Akshayavat and Saraswati Koop in the Sangam area. She prayed for the happiness, prosperity, and welfare of the country.
Underlining the importance of Akshayavat in the Saned Traditionthe Union minister Nirmala said that this holy place has been the centre of faith for devotees since eternity. During the visit to Saraswati Koop, she prayed for the intellectual advancement of the nation by remembering Goddess Saraswati, the presiding deity of learning and knowledge.
