Investing.com – Italy stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the rose 0.54%.
The best performers of the session on the were Tenaris SA (BIT:), which rose 4.35% or 0.57 points to trade at 13.81 at the close. Meanwhile, Brunello Cucinelli (BIT:) added 4.22% or 3.45 points to end at 85.25 and Iveco Group NV (BIT:) was up 2.72% or 0.24 points to 9.13 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Prysmian SpA (BIT:), which fell 2.16% or 1.42 points to trade at 64.46 at the close. FinecoBank Fineco Bank SpA (BIT:) declined 0.83% or 0.13 points to end at 14.98 and Italgas SpA (BIT:) was down 0.64% or 0.04 points to 5.41.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 275 to 225 and 44 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.44% or 1.01 to $71.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.46% or 1.07 to hit $74.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.83% or 21.90 to trade at $2,674.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.40% to 1.12, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.11% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 100.28.
