TOKYO — Japanese financial services group Orix said Monday it has appointed Hidetake Takahashi, a senior managing executive officer, as president in the first switch in the post in 14 years.
Takahashi, 53, assumes the dual role of president and chief operating officer effective Jan. 1. Makoto Inoue, Orix’s current president and CEO, becomes the representative chairperson on the same date while retaining the chief executive post.
