Aside from the rewards rate, you can earn rewards when you shop with Delta SkyMiles partners, including Starbucks and Lyft. If you book car rentals through Delta, you’ll earn 2 miles per $1. There’s no cap on how many miles you can earn.

You can redeem rewards a few different ways, including seat upgrades on existing flights — or for entire flights, if you have enough miles to cover them. You can also use them to cover checked bag fees on Delta flights.

You can also shop with your miles through the Delta SkyMiles MarketPlace, including on upcoming experiences or magazines. There’s also an option to donate miles to charity through the Delta SkyWish program or gift your miles to a friend or family member.

The Delta SkyMiles Platinum Business Amex is best for loyal Delta flyers and those who want to build up miles and rewards with their favorite airline. If you fly often for work and have the opportunity to exclusively fly Delta, this business card is best for you.

You can use this card wherever American Express is accepted worldwide. Although American Express isn’t as widely accepted internationally as Visa and Mastercard, you’ll have an easy time using the card in Canada, Mexico, the U.K., Australia, and other countries.

Since this Delta card is an American Express card, you’ll need to log into your Amex account or register as a new user after you complete an application. You can download the Amex app on your phone or log into the website to add banking information, make a one-time payment, set up auto-pay, and manage your account.
