Amul named world’s strongest food & Dairy Brand by UK’s Brand Finance #UKFinance

Amul has been named the world’s strongest food brand by the UK-based consultancy firm Brand Finance. Additionally, it has maintained its title as the strongest dairy brand globally for the fourth year in a row. The report highlights the most valuable and strongest brands in food, dairy, and non-alcoholic beverages. Amul advanced from the second position in 2023 to claim the top spot as the world’s strongest food brand in 2024, achieving a Brand Strength Index (BSI) score of 91.0 out of 100 and an AAA+ rating. Among the top 50 global brands that have been listed, Amul is the only Indian brand to be featured and acknowledged for its accomplishments. Amul is marketed by the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation, the largest farmer-owned cooperative worldwide.

Amul procures 11 billion liters of milk annually and is valued at Rs 80,000 crore (USD 10 Billion), with its products being purchased 22 billion times a year, the highest in the world.
