(Reuters) – Britain’s financial regulator said on Monday it has fined money transfer firm Wise Plc’s CEO, Kristo Kaarmann, 350,000 pounds ($453,565) for failing to notify the watchdog of significant tax issues.
Wise, in a separate statement, said the Financial Conduct Authority and Kaarmann have reached an agreement to resolve the investigation fully, adding that the regulator found the CEO fit to continue in his role. ($1 = 0.7717 pounds)
