Suzanne McCall, who has been filling in temporarily as Arkansas Tech University’s vice president for administration and finance since June, will hold the position on a permanent basis, pending trustee approval next month.

In that job, McCall oversees ATU operating areas such as budget, controller, facilities management, food services, information systems, payroll, procurement, student accounts and travel services.

Arkansas Tech University President Russell Jones announced McCall’s promotion on Monday.

“Suzanne is an experienced leader in fiscal matters,” said Jones in a news release. “As a result of her background, she has a great understanding of how the State of Arkansas and Arkansas Tech University function.”

McCall, 39, joined ATU in 2018 as its controller.

As controller, McCall managed all aspects of accounting and financial reporting for the institution, the fourth largest public university in the state with a preliminary head-count fall semester enrollment of 9,062.
