Analysts are anticipating AMD to report earnings per share (EPS) of 658 cents for the second quarter, up from 58 cents in the same period last year and revenue of $5.724 billion.

In addition to NVIDIA, other chip-related stocks such as Amkor Technology Inc. (NASDAQ:AMKR) and Lattice Semiconductor Corp. (NASDAQ:LSCC) are also trading lower.
